Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

For the last few months I have been using organic apple cider vinegar (ACV) on a daily basis. I’ve seen several people on Instagram using it, but I was never sure why. Doing my research, I found that  it was an aid in not only weight loss, but several different things.

 

 

What Is Apple Cider Vinegar?

ACV is made from organically grown apples which are taken through a two part fermentation process. First, liquid ibraggapplecidervinegarlabels squeezed from the apples and

 

 

 

 

 

bacteria and yeast are added to the liquid to start the alcoholic fermentation. The sugars are then turned into alcohol. Next, the alcohol is converted into vinegar.

ACV contains the “mother”, which is a web-like substance that is known to the be most beneficial part of ACV.  It contains enzymes and minerals that other vinegars may not contain due to overprocessing, filtration and overheating

ACV is know to have many benefits, which include but not limited to:

In order to reap the listed benefits you must be using the organic, raw and unfiltered ACV, There are other flavors of Bragg’s that include grape, honey and ginger; however, I have not used them prior. Nor do I believe that they contain the mother, which again is the most beneficial part of drinking it.

 

How I use Apple Cider Vinegar

I’ve been using ACV for several months and have noticed a few changes in my skin and digestion. I drink one tablespoon of ACV every morning, diluted with 6-8 oz of water.  ACV is best taken upon rising and before meals. You may also have a serving prior to bed to help keep blood sugar levels down, which can prevent you from waking up during the middle of the night.

 

Nutrition and Directions

As always, you should be reading your food labels. It will always indicate nutritional value and list directions if any are applicable. The Bragg’s label is outlined with directions on a suggested way to drink the ACV.  Important note: Due to the high acidity of ACV, it is necessary to dilute it prior to drinking. ACV_16oz_NF
